About Me.

Fion has been an occupational therapist since 1989 and brings a wealth of experience, warmth, and curiosity to her work with children and families. She loves helping children feel more comfortable and confident in their bodies so they can more fully enjoy the everyday things that matter—playing, learning, connecting with others, and being part of family life.
Fion’s career has taken her around the world. She began practicing in Scotland, primarily in mental health, before moving to New Zealand in the mid-1990s. There, she taught occupational therapy students and served as an elected member of the national licensing board for occupational therapists.
After moving to the United States with her family, Fion found her passion in working with young children. She especially enjoys supporting children who have difficulty regulating their bodies, emotions, and responses to the world around them. Fion believes therapy works best when it feels supportive, playful, and practical, and she values working closely with parents and caregivers to find strategies that truly fit into everyday family life.
When she’s not at Pediatric Village Therapy, you’ll likely find Fion singing, swimming, hiking, traveling, or enjoying time with her extended family.
