Heather has been an occupational therapist for over 23 years and is the owner of Pediatric Village Home Care. Most of her career has been dedicated to pediatrics across children’s hospitals, outpatient clinics, and home health. She loves supporting children and their families in their natural environment, where development feels most authentic and connected.
 

Heather’s passion is working with infants who have been hospitalized or who have medical and developmental complexities. She specializes in early nervous system development and supports families through breast and bottle feeding challenges, including latch concerns, bottle refusal, and tongue tie. Her additional specialties include torticollis (head tilt), plagiocephaly (flat head), and infant nervous system regulation. She is also a certified infant massage instructor, baby‑wearing coach, and Happiest Baby on the Block educator. Above all, she loves empowering parents with knowledge about their baby’s development.

Heather is also a postpartum doula, with a focus on supporting moms of NICU babies and infants with medical or developmental needs. She has extensive knowledge of premature infant development and provides both nurturing support and education to help families understand the unique developmental needs of their babies. Her goal is always to empower parents and equip them with the tools they need to feel confident and supported.

Outside of her work, Heather is a mom to three sensory‑seeking children who keep her busy and on her toes. She loves jeeping, dancing, and traveling.
